Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we feasted with our neighbors the Weldons. Chris was in charge of the turkey and it was so good I even ate some. Jack helped me make the rolls and Livy ate like a pig. It was great fun!

Fall Leaves

There is a beautiful arboretum here in Moscow. I took the kids for some good pictures. Aren't they so cute? Jack wouldn't sit still or smile so his didn't turn out so well. The pictures just don't do this place justice. It was so yellow I felt we were walking in liquid sunshine.

Happy Halloween

This year for Halloween Jack was a dragon and Livy was a pink poodle. Livy cried every time we put the costume on her. Her orange shirt reads, "I love my Mummy." It was kind of cute! We went trick-or-treating at the mall and at our ward activity. Childhood is even better the second time around!

Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday, October 11th we went to WSU's organic fall harvest to pick pumpkins for Jack and Olivia. There was a hay-ride, face painting and a corn maze. We had so much fun despite the chill to the air! Jack is going to make his pumpkin scary and Livy's will be funny.

On Friday we went to pick apples in their apple orchard and then we made an apple pie. It was so yummy!

Jack NEVER cuddled but Livy does. It was fun to hold her close!

Happy Birthday Surprise!

For my birthday my parents gave me the biggest surprise of my life and came to visit. I thought that they were 4-wheeling. I was so excited that I didn't even care I was turning one year older. I've been a little homesick since we've moved up here and I couldn't have asked for anything more! They stayed for 2 1/2 days. We went to Lewiston and Couer D'alene. They even took me out for dinner to Olive Garden which is my favorite! We did NOT want them to leave! Jack even tried to tie up Grandpa but unfortunately, it didn't work. My parents claim they came as a present for me but I really think it was for them! Jack did NOT leave Grandpa's side and my mom never put Livy down. It was great to see my kids with their grandparents again!

Jack's First Day of Preschool

Jack started preschool on September 16th. He was so excited! He told me, "Mom, you can come for a little bit but then you have to leave me." Little to say there was no separation anxiety on his part. He is loving it! I'm adjusting to having him gone! These are pictures with his teachers, Miss Serice and Miss Kathryn.

Olivia's Six Month Pictures

On Labor Day we drove down to Lewiston which is about 45 minutes away to get Livy's pictures taken. She was cute as ever and we got lots of pictures taken. If you want to see her pictures just email me and I can send you them. It didn't work to put a link on the page. We ate lunch at Panda Express which is one of our favorite places and not any where close to us. Jack even eats the orange chicken.

Law school isn't super stressful so far. It feels like Chris works 40 hours a week. I see him more than the last month he was finishing his thesis which is good!

Our ward is very friendly. There are 3 other families that are first year law students. There are many parks we have explored and we are making friends. YEAH!

Our New Apartment in Moscow, ID

After two weeks our apartment is all set up. All of the boxes are put away and we even found room for our food storage underneath our beds. I'm so excited for our new couch! It made me finally feel like an adult in a way that getting married and having two children still hasn't done.

Chris has started law school and we still get to see him. YEAH! Our new ward is very friendly and we are starting to make new friends. Jack and Olivia are getting used to sharing a room although they are still awake earlier than Heather would like. We miss home but our new life is good.
